Frequently Asked Questions


  • Who is the "member" for my GoMotion Account?
    • The account name should be parent/guardian name.  Member should be child's name.
  • How do I use a gift certificate?
    • Paper gift certiciate- bring it in and turn into staff.
    • Virtual gift certificate- provide the last four digits of the GC and amount and let us know which account to put it on.
  • Can I bring in food/drinks?
    • Yes, pack snacks or lunch.  We do offer a small variety of snacks and beverages for purchase.
  • Are socks required?
    • Socks are preferred but not required for open play.  We do have a small assortment of socks for purchase for $2

Open Play

  • Do I have to register in advance for Open Play?
    • You should register in advance, or you risk the session filling up and being turned away. Also, in case of cancellation for weather or other reasons we can contact you.
  • Do I need to register my baby for Open Play?
    • Children under 1 are free. Please register and use the drop down payment menu to "under 1 year- free"
  • Why does it say $0 when I checkout?
    • Your card will not be charged at registration.  It will be charged following the event.
  • Can I cancel my registration if I cannot attend?
    • Please text/call (248)934-1634 or email [email protected] if you need to cancel a reservation.
  • Do I have to be there right at the start time?
    • No. You may attend anytime within the two hour block.

Birthday Parties

  • Do you have a refridgerator/freezer
    • We do not. Bring your own coolers for anything you want kept cold.
  • How many people can your space accommodate?
    • Up to 20 kids in the play area.
    • Our capacity for the space is around 100 but we recommend keeping adults to around 40.
  • What time can I arrive?
    • You may enter up to 30 minutes prior to your start time.


  • How many kids do you allow per class?
    • 7-8 kids with one instructor, up to 10 with two instructors
  • If I miss a class can I do a makeup?
    • You are allowed one makeup class per session (unless otherwise noted by owner). This must be made up within the same session and does not carry over to the next session. This must be scheduled with Melanie through email/text.
  • What should we wear?
    • Comfortable clothing that is easy to move in (no jeans). No leotard requried. We prefer hair be pulled back.
